My partner and I love Comedy Works. We usually attend at least 6 shows a year. Between Comedy Works Downtown and Comedy Works South at the Landmark, we have gotten to see several of our favorite comedians! The staff is always wonderful, and the shows are always fantastic! The best part is that we get to meet the comedians and take pics with them after the show!

Had the best experience here. Ashley Chapa and her team were the most helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t catch everyone’s names but my boyfriend and I got tickets online through StubHub (boooo) also my mistake for not reading the very obvious warnings that they do not resell tickets from anything other than their website.

Anyway long story long we got duped. Ashley told us to have a seat and they would try and get us into a fully sold out show to see Kam Patterson.

They not only got us tickets but they were VIP ones we could buy at the door. THANK YOU! Literally made our day and to top of off Kama dad Kenny heard our story and let us meet Kam. Couldn’t have been a better turn out and we are so thankful for the staff here.

The pictures you find online with tables between chairs, etc-- isn't actually what you get. They pack you in so tight with the chairs-- that the waiters can't even get down some aisles-- and you are required to buy two things-- drinks, food, etc.

They lock your phone up in a little envelope, which can still receive calls but you can't answer them.

Also Writer's Square Parking is NOT 2 blocks away-- it is literally the next block and takes less than 5 minutes to walk to Comedy Works from the parking.

We got to see Craig Ferguson on October 5th 2024! No real pictures of him, because my phone was locked up-- he was funny!

This is a great place to see a show. We had a really good time. Seats are a little uncomfortable. The staff/service is friendly, amazing and fast.i liked that they locked your phones up and little magnetic bags and unlock them at the end of the show. It was a great way to stay in the moment and not be distracted by others using their devices.

Everything about the downtown club last night was perfect. Comics, staff, food and drinks, etc! In the early 90’s I owned and managed Comedy Clinic at 33rd and Arapahoe in Boulder. Along with 105 other clubs in 1993, we closed because of competition with stand up comedy on HBO and Showtime. Now I’m in the audience enjoying shows! I’ll be back.

We went for new talent night and it was really fun! So many comedians that would go on for about 2 min and switch kept things interesting. Was surprised there's a 2 item minimum per person and high prices for basic food/drink items but oh well we still enjoyed. Would recommend the new talent night so you don't break the bank it was $12 a ticket + whatever 2 things you get inside.
