I am a total and permanent disabled combat veteran and all this organization did for me was assure me that they would help, after I sent them in all my family’s information as well as my own. They have not gotten back to me, and my family is in immediate need of assistance. This organization is a waste of time and effort.

Be careful with these guys, they steal veterans disability benefits and are not as helpful as they act. Most of the employees are “recovering “ drug addicts who barely made it through high school. Maybe one person here is actually a veteran, and it doesn’t seem like they respect what they do. One guy, Aaron, paints his nails lol.

If you are a Veteran, you need to get involved here, my brothers' and sisters'!!!
That was an old review, Shipmates. After COVID I applied for the PAHAF assistance program. I THOUGHT it was to assist Homeowners in crisis. I was wrong. I own my home outright. Owe less than $5000 in back Property taxes. 70% Service-Connected Disabled, Navy Vet w/kids. Neither VLP or PAHAF helped me. VLP was supposed to assist me w past-due Water/Sewage/Garbage bill. I went homeless 10/30/2022. W/S/G was $600 at the time& shut off. Blawnox Borough charged me $100/month regardless of utility SHUT-OFF. VLP promised to assist with payment. After many visits, appointments, emails of up-to-date/legible bills & one-sided communications, it's 11/2024 and I have not received assistance, replies, emails or any follow-up whether phone, text, letter or E-mail. I have no water, sewage, garbage service, offers of assistance from either VLP or Blawnox Borough. My grandfather, Father, Sister, Brother-in-law & myself are all decorated Veterans who have resided in this town since the late 1940's, served our country selflessly and decided to raise our familes in Blawnox for a reason. Yet Blawnox has nothing to offer my family except tickets over $1000.00 for my gutter being loose, my yard uncut, past-due unexplainable charges of $100.00/month for non use of a utility and harassment of a disabled, female veteran mom of three on a fixed income who owns my home outright. Any ideas people?

Helped me on a few things partially helped on my vehicle causing it to have more damage and inoperable now. Then was helping with housing stuck in a hotel and Rachelle would rather me and my family be on the streets than to help. So disappointing!
