En ese lugar funciona San Jacinto College, dan clases de inglés gratis, realizan ferias donde toman la tensión, pruebas para diabetes, hasta regalan comida

Tax service was a nightmare! I took my elderly mother on February 23, to Bay Area location to help her with her taxes, I called them before we went there - they wouldn’t make an appointment but assured me that they are not busy right now. When we came, there was three accountants present, who was just sitting in their offices or wondering around. They made my elderly mom waiting for 1:30, helping only one customer before us. The manager Bernadette was so rude that she made my mom crying, verbally abusing her, saying: if you can’t walk, why didn’t you bring the wheel chair? It was horrible, at some point I thought I have to call ambulance for my elderly mother. No respect, no mercy for elderly and vulnerable people. Will never go there again! And on top of that they couldn’t even explain how did they come to the numbers we have to pay, unexpectedly, on her taxes, when she has no income…

Went there last year and they made a mistake on our taxes which caused us a problem with IRS. When I asked them for help they refused to help and accounting manager was very rude on a phone. Fortunately IRS helped us to solve this problem

The THRIVE Program is extremely helpful! We were lost in life and they were able to get me and my Fiance back on trak! He has a great paying job and I am back in school again. They also have programs to help you get your GED and so much more. If you are in need they are here to help, and in the BIGGEST way for me and my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This is a hidden gem for the Bay Area! So many great organizations under one roof and the United Way is really taking pains to keep improving and adding services. The THRIVE Center and staff are excellent and can help with job searches and skills, and of course there are multiple other services from free English and reading classes through to the Scouts, and a lot more. Recommended!

I have a monthly non-profit meeting here. Rooms are equipped with tables and chairs. Sometimes we get a different room then we asked for but it all worked out. Facility is clean, security makes sure we are ok all the time.

I just happen to be researching United Way Organizations and came across ALICE yesterday afternoon first and for most the name is dear to me because it is my maternal gramothers middle name. In reference to Asset limited, Income Constrained, Employed...ALICE is an old women amongst women.
