came here while visiting LA! this was my first time seeing a comedy show in person and it was definitely enjoyable. it was a little hot in there after a while but i only felt it towards the end of the night. also, they will include you in the show if you sit in the front row (whether that be roasting you or asking basic things about yourself to tie into their jokes). i didn’t mind it at all and it made me more immersed in the experience!

Went for a spontaneous show,
The tickets where super affordable for a 2 and a half hour show.

Its a very quirky intimate space, the atmosphere feels so genuine.

They are working on getting a alcohol license, there wasn’t a place around to drink before a late showing.

Being stone sober the show was still very good!

If you’re someone anxious about crowd work i can only speak from my experience but the comedians I saw kept it light hearted and did a very good job at reading and interacting with the crowd, highly recommend!

Amazing place and idea for comedians to practice old and new material, easy to preform your set and to-be supported by other comedians/comics… it’s one hour long shows in the slotted spots
and it’s mostly good writing and prepared sets. You can preform/practice from lunch time to midnight too on every hour annd also have you set taped too! Great spot! great vibe! Great working comedian owner too who gets it ! Yay! 🥳🥸🤓😉

Writing this review with a heavy heart because I know it’s a small business and someone’s pride and joy, so I want to be as fair as possible when sharing my experience as someone who paid tickets to go (and as someone who frequents comedy venues at this exact ticket price range):

The Good — the host was lovely and warmed the crowd for her comedians, which was so pleasant to see. It’s an intimidate venue where you could chat up the comedians after if you pleased. Parking is also plentiful on the street and in the grocery lot nearby (if you risk it, which we did for the 9:30pm show).

The Bad — It is a super small venue. Having no windows is fine, I’ve been to comedy clubs without them, but the chairs are uncomfortable and I was aching to out of them by the 30 minute mark. They also were really crammed together. There isn’t really a bar, it’s more just cooler Kirkland drinks and beers, so drink before or after — don’t anticipate for great drinks at this venue.

The comedians the night we went were fine, some hit and miss, the hits were great. Good comedy doesn’t require ableist slurs and I hope it’s discouraged from the sets in the future.

Overall, I’d come back if the seating situation was improved. Being physically uncomfortable during the show, especially if you’re over 5’9, would suck.

This is a very intimate venue. I think there was room for 20-25 guests, plus the crew. This was a perfect place for a date. It's not a super high-end place, but honestly, it's one of the best comedy shows I've seen in the last few years. Definitely will be back again!!!

I went here once for an open mic and now I'm a famous television and movie star. Highly recommended for people looking to become celebrities. 5 min on this stage and you'll never have to work again. 10/10

Such a great space, and a safe place to try new material!!! No one will punch you in the face, and the owner is awesome. It’s nice for hosts, comics, and the audience! I can see this place growing into the best club in town. Buy tickets, come do your set, just come support!
