Good Afternoon, My name is Michael Rizzuto..... I was a client also a client leader for the men's side of Secaucus N.J. , Based on everything I've seen on here and in and out of the facility , I personally feel that the lessons and groups were very informative and definitely a learning experience ..... Also ? The food was delicious and appetizing in my
opinion.... The staff isn't in fact showing no favoritism to anyone , casing point( I'm A White Man and Italian ) LOL, the staff treated me with open arms ,loving and the up most respect at all times .... As far as visitations & phone calls to family ? I never had an issue with phone calls , but there's rule for a phone call ? And that is you must talk to your primary counselor, so they have supervision during their call ? That's not all , that serious.... Visitation? Comes with a rehab treatment center , under insurance rules ?it's considered a medical facility as well .....So on that note? You need doctors approvals and also ? The states approval as well to allow visitation in not just this facility? Also all facilities in the State of New Jersey to allow amble permission to have visitation..... Also , you have to follow basic necessary rules in a facility..... All the comments are definitely , misunderstood in the main scenarios here .... Furthermore 1 of the main rules , we learn here is " WE HAVE TO GET COMFORTABLE WITH THE UNCOMFORTABLE " ...... In the process of our recovery ,we are here to rebuild us to humans from being addicts that are sick and suffering .... This place taught me so much , I am a year and more as of now , also in classes finishing up my recovery coaching state certification..... And now ? I'm a new and improved man now ,all thanks to the C.U.R.A. staff .... Also , I took a pause of silence for the old Director that led C.U.R.A staff to many endeavors in the past and his spirit and staff went through a difficult time and they are rebuilt to a even better facility now ..... In conclusion , Thank you C.U.R.A. staff ,for bringing me back to life .....

Was recently a client from October 2022 to January 3, 2023. (90 day program) .Totally unorganized. Seems to cater to Hispanics. The place looks like something out of a horror movie! No AA or NA brought in for meetings except for Hispanics! Worst 90days I've ever experienced.

I was in here for 6 months. The director DOES actually care about you as a person in need of treatment! There way of running things is for a reason, I won’t say it was delightful or enjoyable but it’s not supposed to be! Your there for treatment and help not to socialize and party! Some of the staff could use a restructuring yes, and maybe some more in-depth training on certain behavior issues. The food was spectacular! I gained a good 20lbs in 6months, you definitely will not go hungry there! The facility is old however they have a G.I rule in place which is daily and it does keep the place sanitary for the most part! I have never been to another treatment facility to make a comparison but all in all it’s not so bad!

alcoholics need not be here. But generally they aren’t equipped to deal with anyone really. Michael Rivera The director is quite possibly the most arrogant and out of tuned person I’ve met in my life. The place is old and dirty and safety isn’t big on their list in inclement weather. And is it legal to have the janitor distribute medication?

The most unprofessional staff! I called to have my sister admitted. Not only where they rushing me off the phone. The lady who answered was telling someone else to take my call..”Because she had to go” I mean you are suppose to be a rehab for women with children and you can’t even acknowledge someone needing help! Shut this place down!

This program is definitely a safe haven. I was there for 4 month and ive been clean since. Definitely a life changing experience and i dont regret not one thing i learned about this place. All the coping skills and life changing advices i learned is all well worth it. -Fernando R.
