Came for a concert after a last minute venue change. I was concerned since the concert moved from a theatre to a cafe. I had early access and meet and greet and was the second person in the door. It is a low key place for sure. Free street parking all along thst road, as well as the blocks all around it down summit street. I got there 2 hours early and got a spot right in front of the venue, but with it being a tuesday as well as election day, there was ample parking. The venue itself is tight. With 100 people it is crowded and it would be a little claustrophobic if there were 150+ people. There is a bar with some bar seating as well as some high top tables and stools as well. 1 tiny bathroom (was out of toilet paper). It would be an odd place for a medium od larger band. The stage had issues fitting 5 band mates. The show was fantastic though. There are roof leaks and sometimes you'll get dripped on. It was awkward because there was a steady drip on the stage where there were a lot of cords and cables on the floor. Low ceilings. It gets hot during a show with a crowd of people. It was an interesting place for sure.

They have done the best with what they have. Saw a great band here this weekend (Wildermiss) and the sound quality was good. It’s a very small space which makes for a really intimate show. THERE IS NO FOOD but the bar has many drink options and the bartender was nice. If you’re looking for food there is a great pizza/wing place right next door. They’ve added as much seating as they can all while keeping a floor open for shows. Also, the bathroom was surprisingly nice! A+ on a clean bathroom with modern fixtures.

Small venue, but super intimate. Love seeing local bands and touring acts here. Parking is good if you're there early but plan for a little walk. Great outdoor space as well.

First visit to the Rumba Cafe, bought a ticket to see The Surfrajettes. There is really no other way to say it than the Rumba is a no thrills "dive" bar. The space was cleared for a standing crowd that would max at maybe,120-140. There were two stools left at the bar, but you weren't going to get a good view of the band from there. The sound system was good!

Parking was available on the street around the building. The limited contact I had with the staff, the doorman and the bartender, they were friendly. I am not a drinker but I would guess the prices are very reasonable. I bought an Athletic N/A and two bottles of water for $7. That would run me $10-$12 at other places. The price of the ticket was ridiculously low to see such a quality band as The Surfrajettes.

These ladies have carved out a niche in the Surf music scene and and are fantastic musicians. They put on a great show at the Rumba!

Went recently to see a performance. I was worried at first because I was not sure if there would be accessible seating for my physically disabled wife. I was able to get in contact with someone ahead of time and they were so kind as to put two chairs in front for us as accommodations, which was incredibly appreciated. It is worth mentioning that the bathrooms are up a narrow set of 4 stairs, and are not wheelchair accessible, in case that is a concern for anyone. The venue is small but everyone had their own breathing room during our seated show and it was phenomenal. Wonderful experience and super appreciate Andy + Soren for helping us out. Thanks!

Always a great time. The venue brings good bands in from across the country. A giant dog played a great set. So glad I was able to catch them. Check them out.

Place is pretty small, music is very loud so ordering is difficult, there's no menu on the wall so I was a bit lost on what to order other than beer. It was a good crowd at the punk show I went to, they do have a back smoking area with seating and although I didn't smoke weed some people did and no one cared. I went on a wed and it was super packed, merc tables are right next to the exit so if you don't plan to buy get out of the way!

Love going to shows here! Used to live in the neighborhood and proximity to Rumba was a major highlight of living there. Good shows, great staff. I don't think there's any food but who needs it when you've got killer jams and full bar. There are food options nearby. Check out Exotic Latina Grill in the parking lot of 14-0 just around the corner.
