I love the brunch and drag show combo here. The show is not just performers lip syncing, but there’s also comedy and audience interaction.

We started out the night with good seats, but then t all took a downhill turn in a hurry. We prepaid for our food in which they offered three options, two of which had mushrooms but didn’t say this in the menu. As I detest mushrooms I tried to get food changed, but it wasn’t happening. I got served seven Swedish meatballs, each about the size of a quarter, a half cup mashed potatoes and a half cup green beans, which was cold. My girlfriend got the chicken, which also was cold, and normally she eats small portions, well this wasn’t even big enough for her. $23 each and we came home and ate, that is very sad. She said the chicken wasn’t bad, not great, just not bad and my meal was as bland as can be, after being assured by wait staff the meatballs were very flavorful in their own right.

Now let’s get to the show. I know some people enjoy drag shows, and power to them enjoy what you will, but I am not one of them. Nowhere in the billing did they disclose this to be such a show. I sat through the first half of the show as to not make a scene for my girlfriend, but even she wanted to leave at intermission, she brought it up to leave.

We enjoy the local theatre scene but we will never return to this one.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Wichita! Went and saw the Golden Girls perform live and it was AMAZING! The actors did an absolutely great job and had us laughing so hard! The food was delicious and well worth it!!! Definitely recommend!

Golden Girls was great, the food was delicious, the seats though? Left much to be desired. They were really tall and hard to get into. Then you couldn't move while you were in them or you'd knock the tables or fall over. Definitely getting different seats next time.

I went for a divorce party and was surprised at the cabaret but it was funny and entertaining and I loved the make up and costumes.
Wouldn't mind borrowing some.
By the way it was Drag Queens.
The cabaret had a open bar and a breakfast buffet and I'm sure it was a sold out event or close to it.

Would have enjoyed going to their latest show, but they cancel shows 10 days in advance if tickets aren't selling fast enough for their liking. As though people don't buy tickets the week of the performance. It's funny since myself and 3 other people purchased our tickets less than 3 hours before they cancelled, so it seems like tickets are still selling...

Even when you do get to go, the service SUCKS and if someone takes the seats you purchased, they won't have them move. Tickets are reasonable but food is super overpriced.

*The owner reply to my review states that it was canceled for logistical reasons, not for lack of seat sales. The man who called me to tell me it was canceled stated that they were canceling because "only 21 seats were sold and that wouldn't be fun for the audience or the performers". The "weren't sure why that night wasn't selling as well, but those tickets had been made available for sale exactly one week prior, so people have had time to buy them". We went back and forth about it with the employee repeating multiple times that it was because not enough tickets had sold yet.

How dare you come on here and lie.

Roxy's is a great local theatre and local talent. Make sure you reserve your spot to eat before the show too. The creative drinks on the menu are great as well as full bar. Just a great venue to watch local theater. Don't miss a show.

Went to a showing of Ride the Cyclone last night, simply amazing. It was my child’s birthday a few days ago and they have been obsessed with this musical for a while now. When we saw it was going to be in Wichita, about 3 hours from us, I knew we had to get tickets. My child cosplayed as their favorite character and we were front row center. All of the actors did such an amazing job, and at times it felt like they were even playing it up for my kid. After the show their favorite character told my child they wanted photos with them, and even took special Polaroids just for each of them to have. The entire cast and directors signed their book for them as well. They really made my kids night. Not only is it such a fun venue, with great food and drinks, but their show was amazing well done. You guys have fans for life. We will be making that drive many more times I imagine. Thank you so much to the cast and crew for making my kids entire year I am sure❤️
