I took this course to learn how to write my set. Nancy was great instructor and did a great job bringing the funny out of me and helping me build my set. I'm excited to continue to grow my craft. I highly recommend this course!

I just finished taking a class and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I grew as a creative, I improved as a performer, and I made new friends along the way. Nancy is so encouraging! She’ll bring out the funny in you no matter how deep it’s buried! The classes are conveniently held online so you can enjoy learning without having to deal with DC traffic. I don’t care if you’re shy, awkward, stiff, boring or perpetually nervous, THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU!

I can’t believe I haven’t written this review before. NANCY IS AWESOME! I took Standup 101 from her and she honestly gave me all the tools I needed to get started. I’ve been doing open mics since I graduated and I’m enjoying every minute of it. If you’ve curious about standup comedy or want to get started on a career, this course is for you!

The Laugh Index Theatre is an incredible community of improvisers, stand-up comedians, writers, and actors. Watching the shows is great and being a part of the theater is even better. During quarantine, LIT has continued presenting shows and classes virtually. Definitely recommend checking LIT out

I have always wanted to write sketch comedy and perform just like Saturday Night Live, but moving to new york is not an option. Laugh Index Theatre gave me the opprotunity of my dreams. I am now a very skilled sketch writer and performer thanks to the amazing directors at LIT. This place is a one stop shop to learn, perform, and watch comedy in D.C.
