Inter-County Public Transportation Authority

Whoever was driving at 3:29 p.m. on Thursday the 6th of March 2025 coming out of Rocky hock NC, should be fired immediately. This person was clearly on their phone driving in the other lane into oncoming traffic. He barely missed causing a 3 car accident over his phone.

I would give a zero but that would be impossible therefore I’ll give a one. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a ride in pusquotank county let alone to somewhere outside of the county. If this is a transportation service TRANSPORT PEOPLE with ease don’t make it it hard…

If I could put 0 stars I truly would. As I’m typing this I’m currently waiting for this incredibly unreliable bus and driver. I have been late multiple times to work due to this bus. What is the point of having us schedule times to be picked up if no one’s going to honor them. I don’t know who’s worst the bus drivers or the receptionists who answer the phone. No one is of any help and you are all terrible at your jobs. DO BETTER!! A lot of people rely on this form of transportation to get around and y’all just don’t care.

They false advertise that anyone can ride, but they have so many rules in order to ride. If you get Medicaid or a car you can't ride. Some people need to take public transportation if they don't know where they're going or their car is broke down. Luckily, I had money to take a cab to where I needed to go.

I recently broke down in town, truck had to be towed. I figured I would call them to get me home 10 miles away. Nope, not happening! You have to have a 48 hour notice to them unless it's in town. What the heck? I guess I should plan my vehicle troubles around 48 hours in advance!

We do not have a vehicle, nor much money, and need a beach day in our lives desperately, so called ICPTA. I was able to schedule a round-trip bus ride for my two sons and I to the Outer Banks from Edenton - because Donita is absolutely a-freaking-mazing! I am so very grateful for services like this, & people like Donita 💫💜💫💜

Can I give a negative. I go to the clinic daily so thought medical transportation would cover it...nope, 1 ride a year for primary care check up..and the bus is $4..more than the bus in San Diego.

never had a problem really sometimes even comes earlier than my schedule
