Hensley House is hands down one of the best sober living experiences that you will find. What sets it apart is the strong community that you are apart of from the very beginning. It's a family of friends who support each other and enjoy having fun! We do group events all the time; too golf, hunting, bowling, paintball, sporting events, just to name a few. There is very strong and healthy accountability. I could go on but do yourself and your family a favor and come to Hensley House to experience a fun and vibrant life of recovery !!!!!!

Best decision I ever made! I’m one of those guys who unfortunately Has bounced around more than a few of the many sober living houses in Austin. My experience at Hensley House has been absolutely wonderful and transformative. There is a real brotherhood here and more than that it’s a family. We play together, live together, and we support each other together to navigate this journey. Here it’s not just about being sober. It’s about balance, growth, and being shown that a life in sobriety doesn’t have to be small lonely and dull. It can be full, connected, and most importantly it can be so much fun.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into before arriving at Hensley House but I have been blown away by this place. The accountability is awesome and there's so many amazing men here for me to lean on. Hensley House expects us to work hard on our recovery and provides us a space where we cannot have real fun doing it. I've never felt so much love and support. 10/10 would recomend!

Amazing sober living!

I have been to about 7 different addiction treatment centers, and about 4 different sober livings. All the way from California to Tennessee. There are LOTS of different approaches to recovery and ways these places are ran.

I started my journey in recovery at the age of 18, after my parents found me nearly dead from an overdose. I'm currently 23 and have been sober for a year, a feat I never thought possible in all honesty.

After many failed attempts of recovery, I took a suggestion to call a man named Patrick Hensley. He suggested which treatment center I should attend, and offered me a place to stay at his sober living house.

From the moment I toured the place I could tell it wasn't like any other sober living I'd been too. Theres pictures hanging on the walls from all of the different memories and friendships made from the men living there.

Theres an incredibly well balanced and fair structure, that's unlike standard oxford houses. Theres also regular outings that are paid for by the owner. I actually sky dived for the first time in my life here on an outing. Crazy stuff!

I would absolutely recommend Hensley house to anyone I cared about that's struggling with addiction. This place really did help build the foundation I needed to become the man I am today, and for that I will always be grateful.

Hensley House was a wonderful experience for me! I most certainly did not think it was necessary, but it was crucial for my journey moving forward. The level of accountability and acceptance proved instrumental in my integrating back to home life after treatment. The house was professionally managed and cared for. The gentlemen I met there were open and welcoming, as well as, vulnerable enough to discuss life as we see it. I appreciate and applaud Patrick Hensley for his commitment and love for those in need of that extra push to bring their life back together and begin to excel at it.
