I do not recommend eating at this place at all! the customer service was absolute the worst i’ve ever experienced . they didn’t say an absolute word when taking my order , the food was absolutely nasty the fries had no seasoning or anything and got me and my girlfriend very sick .

For a burger/gyro stand, the fast food here is decent. However, I can’t give this place a higher rating because of the checkout experience, which has felt uncomfortable on several visits since COVID.

On my first visit, the cashier told me it was cash only, even though they had a card reader. When I mentioned I didn’t have cash, she allowed me to pay by card. On a later visit, she came around to see the tip amount I was adding. I don’t mind tipping, but it felt pressured with her standing right there. During my most recent visit, she asked multiple times if I was using a Visa or MasterCard, which might be necessary, but when I mentioned I was using Apple Pay and wasn’t sure which card was set up, she came around the counter to look at my phone screen. She then hovered over the screen, watching for my tip selection.

The ‘bedside manner’ here feels awkward, and I find myself dreading the checkout because of it. I could be misinterpreting her intent, and maybe she’s just trying to be helpful, but the approach makes me uncomfortable

100 out of 10. Honestly so damn good. Stopped in and my husband ordered the gyros supreme dinner and I ordered the jumbo pretzel. Dudeeeeee. Amazing. The pictures truly don’t serve this food justice… we literally came at like 7:30pm. 💣

It is very sad what has become of the Gyro stand. This once was a very good ice cream and burger and Gyro stand to get many different options of food and now it is become a shell of its former self. It is now a dirty rundown of what used to be and the food is barely edible and the woman at the counter was so rude and it was 88 degrees in this place and when I asked if we could get our food to go she asked us why and I told her it was just too hot to eat in there and she got all upset and laughed at us. It was 81° outside and 88° inside. The place had a very weird smell and with all of the dirt all over the place it was impossible to think of eating there in the first place. It is sad to say but I will never return to this facility again because I am afraid of getting myself and my son sick because this place does not look like it has been cleaned in a long time. If I could give less than 0 i would.

Good food but very overpriced. To be fair, portions are big (a little too big imo) but I’d rather pay a reasonable price for reasonable portions than spend $15-$18 for a basic burger and fry combo.

Too expensive to go again. A simple gyro, small fries and a soda was $13+. The burgers were $9.+ just the sandwich. The dining room could use a deep cleaning, maybe a little make over. Empty candy machines. Gyro was good, fries too salty, soda fine. Cashier (Maria?) was speaking to someone in the dining room on all matters personal in her life. There are handwritten/printed signs everywhere telling you exactly what and what not to do.

Great piece of Milwaukee history serving up delicious food. It doesn’t look like much from afar but the juicy gyros, crispy fries, and smooth ice cream are some of the best things I’ve had. It feels like a space in between dimensions, perfect after a long night out. Once I went late at night and there was a Leo DiCaprio movie playing where he locked himself in a room complete with jars of his own urine everywhere. 10/10 experience.
