What a GORGEOUS venue! There’s a parking garage super close by that was easy to access. The staff were so friendly and the refreshment options were awesome. They have customizable popcorn where you can add all kinds of toppings!
The theater itself is lovely. We went to see The Real Housewives Unauthorized Musical Parody and it was phenomenal. What a great night!

I had a fantastic time! Every performer did an amazing job the night I attended. The bathrooms were clean, the seats were comfortable, and the concessions were great. I especially loved the intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend!

So much fun watching the 30-minute Musicals! Die Hard and Home Alone were both fantastic! We did stop laughing the entire time! 🎄🤣🎄🤣

So FUN! This place is Quirky. If you like quirky, you'll love this place. It's one of those places in LA where you'll feel like you found treasure. My friend, bought us tickets to see Kevin McDonald and his rock opera. It was an AWESOME night. Laughter is the BEST.

A wonderful venue! The staff is always incredibly helpful and friendly. In my opinion, it is a relatively small space (sorry if my ignorance is showing and it's actually a relatively large space hah), but I'm consistently impressed by the production value of what they're able to do on stage and with the AV in the space.

The only warning I would give is that parking around can be difficult. Most shows I've gone to have been Doors Open at 6:30 and Show Starts at 7:30, but the street parking around the venue doesn't allow parking longer than 1 hour, or no parking at all, before 7pm or 8pm. But that's not the venue's fault, that's just Los Angeles.

10/10 - Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back again!

Dynasty Typewriter is one of the most incredible comedy venues in LA. The level of comedic genius that gathers on this stage is staggering. All in an incredibly intimate space.

The seats are comfortable, with Dyna-Scootch™ technology that helps you recline by scootchin' your booty forward.

The popcorn, snack, and drink selection are excellent and reasonably priced—the options for popcorn toppings staggering.

The staff are friendly, attentive, and ready to sell you some neat stickers, cool shirts, and various, assorted merchandise. That's the Dynasty Difference!

There are few places like Dynasty Typewriter. Whether you're a long-time resident or a visitor on holiday, you should give this incredible place a shot!

I really liked this venue! Recently went to a comedy show there and the atmosphere was perfect, spacious and clean! The staff is great. Loved their drink selection and they have popcorn! like going to an old movie!

I love this little gem. I wish we had something similar in the PNW. I flew in to see Doug Jones host an Untitled Improv show with Lilly Sullivan and a few others. This was one of the most hilarious improvs to date. The theater is quite small, but has a charming vintage touch. The chairs allow you to extend forward for comfort and it's pretty much a first come first serve basis. The staff here is also super nice. I look forward to returning and checking this out again.
