Llegamos en la tarde noche y realmente ya se sentía el frío, la comida es abundante y sabrosa ,el servicio es un poco tardado. Los precios un poco arriba de $$.

Absolutely delicious! You wouldn't know to stop in from the outside looking in, but Cheri's is a hidden gem! When I walked in, the host staff were so kind and personable. They explained the menu well. I ordered the salmon croquettes as an appetizer, and OMG! They were so good. I thought it was my favorite dish, then I tried the main entrees and couldn't choose which I loved more. I ordered shrimp and grits, and my other guest ordered chicken and waffles. EVERYTHING was well-seasoned and crispy. Will definitely be coming back just to get some more!

Pretty decent spot for brunch. The food is great! My whiting-fired fish and grits were amazing. My cousin had the fried chicken and it was nicely fried/seasoned. The only thing I would recommend is elevating the drinks.

What a beautiful visit! I found this place on Yelp, and I'm glad I went. Service was kind and prompt, and the music was nostalgic! Now onto the food, I had the whiting and grits with a spinach side salad along with a rum punch. Oh and an appetizer of the lollipop lamb chops! Everything was delicious from beginning to end. I can't wait to go back!

I want to start off by saying the Art work and Decor is amazing and well thought out. I can see why people came by our table to take pictures (even though we were full on chowing down) but Nonetheless the server we had was so sweet and accommodating the environment was very welcoming...I will definitely be returning. I had the whiting grits and a salad with Salmon croquettes. And my best friend had Catfish Mac and cheese with collard greens. The food was on point, well seasoned and hot off the stove. I love a hot meal and it made me feel right at home. Another honorable mention the music was spectacular, perfect for the mood we were in. I loved it! 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️

The food was excellent. The chef, i cant compliment enough I'll be back. Go see for yourself you won't be disappointed. Service was excellent, atmosphere Indoor and outdoor was very nice. Thank you for the hospitality and 5 Star food.

Overall rating: 4.4 Average rating seems accurate. When I went there was a line waiting for it to be open around 10 or 11. I went on a Saturday. I was excited for some southern food, but I didn’t like the grits. That said, I really liked the vibe! And the bartender was very nice. I also didn’t like the spinach artichoke dip or the bacon. I did like the French toast! But was it my favorite? No. No, it wasn’t. Looking at these other food pictures & I’d be open to trying it again with some other dishes. If I’m in the area. Likely won’t be seeking it out. Recommend giving it a try. Just don’t recommend the things I ordered.

I was Quite Jealous when My Kids went without Me a Few Months Ago so I was Oh-So-Happy to Visit on My Trip to New York... Absolutely My New Favorite Restaurant in Brooklyn... I Can't Say Enough Good Things about this Place... Small Quaint Neighborhood Gem with a Fantastic "Southern Soul" Vibe... We went for Sunday Brunch and Each Dish was More Delicious than the Next... The Rum Punch for Starters was Quite Addicting 😀 We Started with Salmon Croquettes and Mac and Cheese...and the Complimentary Cornbread Drizzled with Honey We Could have Stopped there but Thankfully We Didn't 😎 Steak and Eggs... Shrimp Po Boy... Fried Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles... But My Dish... The Shrimp and Grits... Over the Top!!! The Grits were Melt in Your Mouth Creamy like Mashed Potatoes and the Shrimp was Perfectly Seasoned...it was Outstanding!!! Our Servers Couldn't be Nicer and there was an Awesome DJ Cranking Out Great Tunes... We Left Feeling Happy Full and Super Satisfied!!! Thanks Cheri's!!! We will Definitely be Back!!! ❤️
