Charger Lanes

Beautiful bowling alley. The decor is a cross between having enough modern look and feel with a touch of nostalgia. This place is more than a bowling alley, it's a place that feels right. It has the look and feel of exactly what you need when you just need to escape from the stress of life. They way they have updated it over the years is a perfect example of how your supposed to do it. Take McDonald's for example, the current place looks or feels nothing like it used to and looks depressing. This place has steadily updated as time goes along but still has enough of itself left to not completely ruin the place or and still has some element of familiarity. Thank you charger lanes for all the wonderful memories. I been coming here since 1985 when they had the Mr Robot vending machine right by the front desk. I was sad when it finally was removed and i would buy it and put it in my house regardless if it was working or not or its condition if it ever turned up just to have a classic piece of my childhood. I will continue to come to this place regularly. Everyone I know loves this place. Thanks.

WORST PLACE FOR PARTIES!! 1. The older lady who works the front counter is so freaking rude. 2. Our party was at 3 and we didn't access to the party room until after 4 because the party before us hadn't even left yet. 3. Apparently we were supposed to arrive 30 minutes early to start bowling. They never told us! 4. We had to be done bowling by 5:30 because they had an event using the bowling alley. Again they didn't tell us! 5. We booked our party for 9 kids. When they started bowling there ZERO Ramos for the little kids and ONE 7lb ball! ...To say that I was beyond pissed at this point is an understatement... 6. Back to the lady at the desk with no manners I asked about light weight balls and ramps. She shrugs her shoulders and says guess we're all out and walks away. 7. I had to walk to the other end of the alley myself and ask another family who had 2 ramps if we could use one. The other lady running the concessions was the only saving grace. She literally had to do everything for us with no help. If you'd put her in charge you'd be much better off. She was wonderful. If you're booking parties for kids... leave room between parties and make sure the kids are able to bowl!!! Why would you not book things 30-60 minutes apart? Why would you not purchase a couple extra balls and ramps just for parties? Highly recommended finding somewhere else. I will never hold a party there again. Completely ridiculous and unnecessary.

The disrespect my friends and I experienced here was unacceptable. Being stared at and laughed at by employees the entire time and being ignored when ordering food. Little miss redhead pictured below is in dire need of an attitude adjustment if she expects to succeed in customer service.

We had a wonderful time! Tracey was very pleasant and helpful. My 3 grandkids (ages11, 10 & 7) were pretty high energy! She happily assisted them in shoes,balls, everyway!

This experience underscores the importance of reading reviews prior to making a decision. Had I been aware of the feedback provided by others, I likely would not have chosen this establishment. I find myself in agreement with the majority of the reviews, and I will return to my usual venue, Spins Bowls, for a more enjoyable outing. Unfortunately, the atmosphere at this location was not welcoming, and it did not embody the sense of a hometown environment that one would expect. The manner in which we were observed gave off a rather uninviting vibe. Talk about watered down Sun down town bowling. Additionally, I have noticed that the staff's level of professional customer service is lacking. While I do not anticipate fine dining standards, I do expect a basic level of courtesy. Despite the low cost of cosmic bowling at this venue, I do not feel inclined to recommend it, even on my most frugal days.

Called in the beginning of the week inquiring about a reservation. I had to wait a couple days to put down the deposit . When I called a few days later, she told me they were booked up, but made sure when I called the last time , she put me in for the reservation because they book up so fast! Saved my daughter’s birthday party! I’m so thankful for the quick thinking of the employee! She was so nice, and accommodating! I’m excited for the party, and to meet the wonderful employee who helped so much!

Worst place ever!!! The staff was horribly rude the lanes were terrible my $300 ball now has chips and gashes in it. I don't understand how you expect to have a good business when this is how you run it! This place could be amazing if the right person had it, a little tip fire your whole staff start from scratch treat your customers respectfully and get your lanes together. You don't deserve the one star you even got but I had to put it there good luck

Got to the counter and had to wait for the employee to finish her slot machine game on her phone before we could ask for a lane. We were given lane 25. This lane was having consistent maintenance issues where the balls and pins would get stuck until the lady would go back and fix it. This happened about 7 times in 3 games. When I approached her to fix it she said “I can’t even finish my dinner” while she shoved a chicken tender into her mouth. When leaving I asked about the issues. She said lane 25 and 26 are always like that. There were lots of other lanes open. It would have been in her and the bowling alley’s reputations best interest to not put people in this problem lane. Won’t be back.
