We’ve gone several times. They’ll have you drive onto the big scale to weigh your load when you go in and out. You get a discount for bringing in metal. The base price for a household load is $3. We are grateful there’s a dump to go to that’s so close to us.

I had 1 day off so I decided I would look at the schedule on the transfer stations web site. It said it was open from 7:30am to 5:30pm. So I gathered up all my garbage and loaded it on my truck. When I got to the transfer station at 1pm it was closed. I then looked again on the web site and it still said open. I waisted my day off in a rain storm and my gas. Traveled 50 miles for nothing because no one can update the web site. They wonder why people dump their garbage on the desert. Now I have a load of garbage on my truck that I need for work and cannot unload for at least another week. Ugghhh

Bingham county central is the steroid version of rigby and Idaho falls dumps put together. great staff, easy to navigate, staff available to help. Once got rid of a old dishwasher, took three of us to load the thing, one staff came out, picked it up alone and tossed it for us, it was awesome to witness.
They take dirt, cement, metal, old appliances, and general trash. I’m sure they have other options, these are what I have brought and they took.

My Father and I had several things that we needed to take care 🙂 of. The lady at the front counter was very helpful and also very informative and definitely had a lot of patients , which was much appreciated. 😀 The second lady that was also working was also helpful and both were kind. The Transfer Station has been nothing but great in our experience. The charges are very reasonable and they have guys there to unload the trash for you. Great service, great price: What more could you ask? Bill and Bonnie Egbert

I have never, ever had a good experience at the Bingham County transfer station near Moreland. Tree branches and yard waste used to be dumped at no charge. Makes sense, since it is piled up in the pit and is burned. Costs to the county for branches are very little. Now they weigh and charge for it. The county looks down on citizens burning their own debris, but now they do the same thing and charge me money for it.
My next gripe is the schedule. The county website states that they operate until 5:00 PM Saturday. I got there at 4:48, they have a sign saying they close at 4:45.

I only have one complaint about the Transfer Station and that is if you tell the public that you will be open till a specific time. You should stay open till that time. Don't close early just because your not busy.
