This was a great place to stay while fishing in Homer. It fit our whole family of 6, the back deck was amazing, and we loved, loved, loved the property's Alaska lodge style with all the animals. The location was convenient, it was very clean, check-in was super easy, & pictures do not do it justice!

I was able to have my wedding here and it was amazing. We ended up renting the two larger cabins for myself and the bridal party. The wedding was held under the pavilion and with all the natural beauty, it really made the day that much more special. Very reasonably priced Venue and the kindest people.

We hosted our wedding at Bear Paw Adventure and it was absolutely perfect! John and his family, who are also part of the staff, helped us so much. We had my family stay in the Bears Den, and my husband’s family in the Captain Cook. They enjoyed every bit of it and having our families on the property made our big day even better. Thank you John, Sophie, and everyone for a great experience.

I had only 3 weeks to put a reception together for my daughter and I live in the lower 48. The Ogle family helped with everything! The location is beautiful and the venue "The Wonder" is unique and spectacular.

John Sr. helped expedite the contracting, Corrine helped with the logistics of the event (giving great suggestions), and John Jr. was so great to help with anything we needed at the site and on the day of the event.

The sound system was perfect and so easy to use. We had rain the day of the event and with the large overhangs we had no problem staying dry and comfortable.

Parking was easy and we were even able to drive the elderly attendees right to the venue.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the family who runs it. It is just magical! They were a heavenly gift!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!
We had so much fun during our stay at Bear Paw Adventure's. The cabins were fully equipped with everything we needed and it did feel like home. John made sure all our needs were met. We told them what we wanted to do and see during our stay there and they even booked our tours for us. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend them to anyone heading to Anchor Point. Hope to be back some day.
P.S. We even had two moose walk right by our cabin - sooo cool.

Wonderful Cabins: Beautiful inside and out. Everything provided . Spotlessly Clean. Wonderful hosts: They were always there for us. Friendly and informative about things to see and do. John was so nice to answer all our questions before and during our stay. We already had a cruise booked but the whole time we were wishing we had skipped the cruise and stayed at Bear Paw an extra week instead. The cabins are located far enough away to have privacy but close enough to enjoy all the wonderful things to do and see.
Looking forward to staying there again.

I took my team of six men on a fishing trip and stayed at Bear Paw Adventure. We found the place easy to find. Located close enough to fishing yet remote enough to enjoy our stay.

Upon arrival there was problem with our first choice cabin but the management had already made arrangements to move us to another cabin seamlessly. Very grateful for their proactive action.

The cabin was clean, well kept and very comfortable. I certainly will stay at Bear Paw Adventure on our next fishing trip.

I stayed here with family and friends in May of 2014 for halibut fishing. Such a great place with all the amenities one could need. I would love to be able to go back every year if I could. The cabin we stayed in has a great deck with a grill and plenty of seating. The interior was decorated with trophy mounts and and very cool moose. Can't wait to go back.
