It's a very interesting speakeasy concept. I'll highly recommend that you keep this as a pitstop, rather than the first stop of your evening.

Their cocktail menu was very thoughtfully crafted, with many nice drinks put together by the amazing bartending team. We had The Merchant, the Cinema Paradiso, and the Bella Vita. Set the 5 of us back 90gbp in total.

Make sure you also tell the security "I'm here to see the Mayor", so that you can even get through!

Io e il mio ragazzo volevamo provare una esperienza in uno speakeasy londinese!
È stata una scelta perfetta!
Locale pazzesco, entri dal frigorifero ed esci dal bagno del locale da cui si entra. Un posto nascosto e suggestivo dove ci si può rifugiare per bene un cocktail buonissimo e fatto da professionisti!
Vi consiglio di prendere quello con i pop corn, esperienza unica!
Il personale molto gentile e simpatico!

If you’re into speakeasies, this is your place. It’s a fantastic “hidden bar”experience (complete with a hidden passage through a fridge) and top-quality cocktails. Nothing I ordered was under 10/10. I especially recommend you order the Cinema Paradiso!

Great speakeasy within the breakfast club. The receptionist welcomed us very friendly and took us through the entrance inside an old SMEG fridge. The atmosphere is really good and the music is at the right volume to facilitate a good conversation.
We had 3 cocktails each (6 in total) and each was better than the previous one. I particularly recommend cinema paradiso as it’s served in a popcorn bucket with popcorns on top of it. The staff were very friendly and always keeping an eye on the table to ensure we had water and/or drinks.
Unfortunately we arrived after 8pm so the kitchen was closed but we had a bucket of popcorn and they were very nice. Overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone that like speakeasy bars.

Absolutely dreadful experience at The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town. Our group of 16 arrived at the venue, but no staff were at the door for over 10 minutes, leaving us and another group of five confused about how to access the speakeasy. Once seated, things only got worse. Drinks took ages, charcuterie boards never arrived (yet we were charged), and staff shrugged off mistakes. Apparently, it takes them over an hour to prepare a cheese board. There was no communication between the kitchen and bar, and no manager on-site to address the issues. After spending over £300, we left feeling ripped off. Sent a complaint email, but no response. Avoid for group bookings, completely unreliable and dismissive.
