I have been to many comedy nights however, Shakespeare Comedy Club was one of the best nights I comedy I have ever seen. The club was small seating 40-50 people below the pub. The compare was hilarious doing something he called ‘pulling chutes’ all night long.
A highlight was a Moroccan comedian who came on and made us laugh by detailing his various tricks and schemes. 5 stars, I will be coming back.

I was definitely not impressed. This comedy club is very small (seats apx 20 people max). There were 10 in the audience including us (there were 5 of us) so not a great atmosphere. It's in a basement of a pub and is very very cold. You can buy drinks at the bar but a glass of cheap wine (from Lidl) is £9.90. The comedians are not pro level (which is fine but then you shouldn't have to pay £10 per ticket). Some comedians were OK, but need to polish their routine for a paying crowd. We really felt shafted on this night out due to the price of tickets, bar prices and low quality of the venue. Most definitely will not return.

Epic night, drinks made by lovely bar staff, food tasted good and the comedy was hilarious and was the best value for money I think I've ever spent watching anything. Will 100% recommend to anybody in the area and beyond! Can't wait for the opportunity to come back. Really small basement venue, proper intimate so you can have a giggle with the comedians who all done such a great job, I reckon it's tougher with a smaller crowd but honestly had more fun and laughs here than I have at famous comedians gigs!

I've been to the Shakespeare Comedy Club twice over the last month and it definitely checks out..was able to watch 6-7 comedians each time performing really funny sets. Nicole and Adam were fantastic as MCs as well.

My husband found this comedy place by searching the internet. We are visiting from California and enjoyed the show on 9/17/21. We had a GREAT time. There were four comedians and then there was Mo, the host. Mo did a great job. He made everyone feel at home and his jokes were funny. He made us laugh a lot. It was a very local bar/ comedy and it was a fun night out. The four comedians were funny! If you’re visiting from out of town, you have to go! It’s like going “off Broadway” to enjoy a local experience. Mo, great job! When we come back to London, we will visit again!

Really enjoyed ourselves last night at the Shakespeare Comedy Club. Intimate setting with top quality performers should have got their names to follow their careers which deserve to be long and fruitful thank you for a great evening ! Food upstairs in the pub is great and worth trying also ! What a great experience !

Amazing night! Booked tickets last minute and had such a laugh!
All the acts were amazing and did a spectacular job!
