Such a dilemma as genuinely want to keep this a super special secret night out but hey, also want to support the 2 wonderful human beings who put the time and effort into making it so good. Great venue, lovely staff, incredible prices (in a good way) and the best stand-ups from across the UK (and occasionally further) not only in all their glory but seeing them relaxed, close-up, human and in a room that has a traditional old-school comedy venue vibe about it. 27 stars!

I’ve spent years working in comedy and travelling the world for it, and one of the very best rooms turns out to be above a pub in Kennington. The quality of the line ups is astounding, and the audiences are some of the best. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of Always Be Comedy- the shows are just perfection- the variety and quality of acts is second to none. Tim and James are friendly and fabulous humans (also both very amusing in their own right!)

Would've given them 6 stars but am always oddly bothered by the way it says 'Alway Be Comedy Tickets' on the tab when clicking on the website. I would be delighted if my one contribution to humanity was for the necessary 's' to be added.

Needless to say James and Tim are gods among men (women and others). Have had many brilliant nights here and some broadly fine ones too.

Great comedy, amazing prices. Have seen some absolute legends here in a small intimate venue. The only thing I’d improve is the comfortableness of the chairs - the rest is an amazing experience. Love it here.

Most excellent comedy club. Highly recommended. James and Tim are the perfect hosts. Regular well known comedians as well as new acts. Get the 159, 59, 3, 133 or northern line to Kennington. What's not to like.

Oh the joy of this place - the very BEST stand-ups trying out their stuff week after week and a chance to hear the warm up do his Stormzy/Penge joke week in week out (get some mew material James!). This place is friendly, intimate (but not too much) and fantastic value for money.
