Update they will let you request to not be part of the show. I may consider coming back. This was not on the website**My Wife and I went to the Dinner Detective for our 17th anniversary. After check in you can stop by the bar and mingle as we wait for the doors to open. You are assigned a table but can sit wherever you want at the table. Coffee, tea and water are provided complimentary.
The food was good but not great. The portions were pretty small and I was still hungry afterward. Selection was limited to chicken or veggie.
The acting was fun and hilarious. The actors were really talented and super funny.
My only warning is for introverts:
The actors will try to involve the crowd in the show and you may be randomly selected to stand up and make a fool out of yourself in front of about 150 people, luckily I was never chosen. This gave me great anxiety throughout the night that I may be selected.
Honestly, I won't be back to the Dinner Detective for fear of being publicly humiliated.
If you have no fear of performing in front of large groups you should have a great time.
Introverts beware!

Very fun and interactive! The actors were amazing and really made it feel like we were a part of solving the mystery. (And the food being delicious was a bonus.) Lots of laughs and a good time.

We had the absolute best time!!! We all enjoyed it much more actually than I thought we all would. We purchased tickets as an event to celebrate a birthday and a night of fun for some of us and they did not disappoint! The actors were all amazing, it was fun, hilarious, enjoyable and entertaining! The food was excellent and all staff were wonderful! Only thing that I wish was a bit faster was the valet as it was crowded and we had to wait 20minutes for the car and when we first showed up we didn’t see a parking garage- so we had to do valet but they were busy so it wasn’t a huge deal. Highly recommend going and thank you to everyone for such a wonderful night!

This evening’s show production and entertainment is something I would have never expected. I am delighted beyond words. It is likely one of the most entertaining and enjoyable nights that I have had with friends in a long time highly recommended please see Dinner Detective!
