Nice cozy spot for poetry, music and the arts. Also a very nice event venue to host a party, baby shower, meeting, church service, etc. It's appropriately named. You'll understand when you visit. They have event quite often. I will definitely be back!

My wife had took me to this place 7yrs ago when they was on Bloomfield Ave...loved the vibe,seen a lot of pictures of great poets on the wall,my Mayor Ras Barack & his father was a poets in their past..

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been to multiple events there. I appreciate the community and creativity that’s exhibited there. Although every event isn’t hosted by the same people because the venue is available to be rented out from my understanding; I have had all good experiences there, every single time.

Horrible experience. Chose the venue for a holiday celebration and we walked around the building from 850 til 925 trying to find an entrance and someone to let us in.The event said doors would be open ....it was not they were locked. We knocked over and over for 30 mins. We looked into the window and saw the venue but no one was inside for the listed event. When we contacted the organizer they insisted they just didn't unlock the doors because there was "less people in attendance" and someone would have to arrive the venue to let us in. It was more than 30 mins into the supposed event and there was no other guests. We decided to cut our losses and just leave so we didn't have to wait longer in the cold. We told the organizer and asked for a refunded considering they clearly canceled the event and had no intention of having an event. The organizer refused to refund the money for both our tickets and take any accountability for this experience. Merry Christmas apparently

Bought tickets for a paint and sip event at 9PM (We were told the doors apparently open at 8:30). We arrived well before 9 and were left outside trying to contact the owner for 20 minutes before eventually going home to avoid freezing outside.

I spent valentine's day here with my new boyfriend. The host gave flowers to the ladies. Nice touch. It was awesome! Cozy and the crowd was like my friends by the end of the night. I am definitely coming back. I can't believe someone even got me to sing.
