Tekmetric helps keep the work flow organized and makes ordering parts and communicating with customers very easy. As a customer of a shop that uses Tekmetric and wanting a paper invoice it is not very well executed format and needs serious attention. It sure would be nice to be able to print out the invoice on a single page.... my invoice of getting brakes done, tires rotated and joints greased, it's a 5 page print out!!!!
I like to put repair/maintenance receipts with the truck, if/when I go to sell it, then I can hand over and show the maintenance work done. But with this format, I would have to waste paper and have a 600 page novel in the glove compartment......

We switched to Tekmetric but may have to switch back to ROwriter. Tekmertric has terrible financial reporting. Try an pull up the current cost of your part inventory, you cant. You have to have that information at tax time. Oh well. Back to ROwriter

Tekmetric is a versatile software suite for automobile shops. Technician-friendly, keeps time, robust, detailed and comprehensive with a forest of report options. Accountants like that it computes the sales tax and taxable sales, among other things A/P and A/R. *Needs some work to sync with accounting software.
