We went to Texas Improv to see Russell Peters, and the experience was great overall.

Organization & Service:

1. The process of getting into the theater and finding our seats was really smooth and well-organized.

2. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.

3. There is a two-item minimum purchase, but you can choose drinks or mocktails, and they’re reasonably priced.

Food & Drinks:

4. We ordered fried cheese fingers, and they were terrible. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

5. The drinks were okay—nothing special but decent for the price.

Atmosphere & Show:

6. The vibes were amazing, and the crowd was great.

7. Russell Peters' show was absolutely fantastic, and we had a lot of fun.

The Standing Price is always a solid choice for a fun date night. While I wouldn’t recommend the food—everything is fried, the portions are huge, but the flavor is pretty underwhelming—the atmosphere makes up for it. The drinks are just okay; you can tell they’re measured very precisely, which leaves them feeling a bit weak.

What really stands out here are the comedians and the overall vibe. The laughter and energy in the room create an amazing atmosphere that’s hard to beat. I do wish they’d revamp their menu and make the drinks a little stronger, but even with those drawbacks, the experience is always worth it. This is definitely a place to go for the ambiance and entertainment rather than the food.
