GREAT LIL STORE...... BUT.....

FALSE ADVERTISING NEEDS TO COME DOWN OFF THE SIGN.

Employees don't need to deal with arguing tourists and customers trying to get a license here. CLAIMS to have them, but DO NOT, is FALSE ADVERTISING.

The owner is failing to change/update this OLD sign, as they've not been doing these licenses for years now.

UNFAIR to the employees. Please fix it. And SHAME for years of this LIE.

Sign need to be thanking locals, thanking employees, being positive and update.... not false junk.

Old school business… on Mother’s Day every mother coming in gets a long stemmed rose. My wife appreciates this gesture so much. Homestead hold over! Nice basic business!!

I love this store. It has a little bit of everything.
The only issue I had was I got little votive candles and I told the cashier not to bag them and that I would hand them personally due to their very fragile because they are loose single candles with no protective cover.
The cashier disregarded me on purpose. Even when I said stop. And she crumpled the bag and damaged the edges on every single candle 🙁 all four of them.
Very disappointing. I will be back to purchase more during a morning shift to avoid the same issue. The elderly woman was a pleasant employee other than the disregard for the request and the eye rolling when I said I was going to handle the candles and inspected the damaged edges on top bottom and sides. 😞
Other than that. It’s a great store and very reasonable prices.

The Wherehouse is a great little grocery store to grab items that you are running short on.

They have all the staples, great for if you need something quick and don't want to go all the way to Homer or three bears! They've really saved us several times!

I was shopping there around 2:00pm today. There was a issue with my card. The machine said it had expired. The. cashier rudely said, ' Can't you see what the machine said? The lady a couple behind r overheard what happened and bought my grocery items for me. I went to Homer and tested my card at Safeway. No problem. And the expiration date was not expired. Maybe he was having a bad day but I want be a party to that kind of embarrassment again and decline to shop there. We just moved to anchor point. Also you can only buy 2 containers of milk which doesn't effect me because I don't drink it. Y no means am I trying to give this store a bad rap. I'm just telling it like it is.
