can’t say enough good things about the shop! I was recommended to head up to Skaters Edge when I needed fitted for new skates. I am from Columbus, so I made the 2 1/2 hour drive up to Cleveland. I have small but very wide feet, and, my current skates were not a very good fit and were painful for me to skate in. I had my fitting with Chris, and he was great about taking the time to find me the best options for my feet. We had to order my skates, as I do not have a common length and width to keep in stock, but they arrived in about a week and I came back to try them on and make sure they were going to work for me. Took the time to mold my skates, mount my blades, sharpen them, and adjust my laces to make sure everything felt right before leaving. I was very impressed with his knowledge of skate brands and what was recommended for Skaters of varying levels. Will definitely be back, and will certainly have him fit me again, as well as my kids when they start skating.

Don't walk in there without an appointment! Arrogant and they don't really listen to what the customers really want. Thankfully there is a better shop not that far from them that truly exceeded our expectations.

Highly recommended!! They are amazing to work with no matter if it is skate sharpening or balancing. I cant say enough great things! I travel all the way from Pittsburgh to bring my skates and students. You wont be disappointed in the service you receive. It is worth every minute. Thank you for being so genuine and caring. I was in desperate need of a sharpening for my ice skates, and this is the place I was recommended. So I made an appointment, drove from Geneva, and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed! This place is the best for your skating needs, whether ice or roller. The man who helped me (I think his name was Chris), was so knowledgeable and helpful. He took a look at my skates, asked me a few questions, and was able to tell fairly quickly that the last sharpening I had done was uneven, and probably why I was having some issues with my edges. He also relaced my bootes, tied them up for me, and WOW they felt like brand new skates!! He answered all my questions, and let me know that my skates are just fine for what I am using them for at this time. But if I ever needed new ones, he'd be able to get me set up with a new pair. He sharpened my skates, and waxed the bottoms (mine weren't done, and thus were not waterproof), and all for a super awesome price. I just skated on them a few days ago and they feel SO MUCH better than before! I 100% will be back for any of my ice skating needs in the future! If you have any skating needs, I highly recommend you make the trip out. They are worth it!! Thank you!
