My son loves his TKD Classes! The instructors are amazing. The atmosphere is very welcoming. You can tell how much the sir and the ma'am enjoy teaching the children. It's amazing how they know all the children's names. I highly recommend Union TKD.

My Kids have been part of UTKD family for over 5 years now. They absolutely respect their peers, Teachers and above all Mr Faleski. The program goes above and beyond other local facilities and teaches kids to be disciplined, hard working and nimble. It does take higher time and effort commitment but the results are very visible as you see your kids become more agile and dedicated to the program.

We love UTKD! My son has been learning taekwondo here since he was 5 years old (now 11). They have taught him so many invaluable skills such as being respectful, responsible, non-judgmental, and self-confident. They help him identify and work towards his personal goals in a supportive, friendly environment. Their after-school program and summer camp are well- structured with a variety of activities built into the daily routine that keep the kids active and engaged. Parent communication is wonderful and they make you feel welcome as part of their UTKD community. We truly appreciate their commitment to our son and guidance they provide him along the way!

This place is simply outstanding. UTKD has been a part of our lives for 6 years; our kiddo is now a 10YO high-red belt who enjoys her time so much she CANNOT wait to get to camp in the summers and spring breaks and wants late pick-up from after-school care.
The fundamentals that ground the entire business-- respect, responsibility, kindness, self-discipline, community-- permeate every aspect of their business. We have consistently been impressed by the staff; in some cases, the employees have become family. Communication is efficient and thorough. Prices are competitive for similar services in the area.
If we're honest, there are LOTS of places you can have your kid spend their time if you need childcare- this place gives you the small, neighborhood vibe where the staff know, listen to, and care for your kid and make parents feel welcomed. This place truly encourages kids to be themselves and fosters a community in which they can.

Union has provided both my sons (6 & 9) with an amazing camp for several weeks this summer. The themes are fun and get the kids attention while also satisfyingly my parental desire for them to continue to use their brain and learn things throughout the summer. The program provides the perfect balance between structured & planned activities vs. free time that keeps my youngest in line while letting my oldest feel like he has had a bit more control over his summer. While my youngest is easily entertained, the best part of my experience is that my oldest has repeatedly asked to go back week after week. The staff are always warm and friendly and have been extremely responsive to all questions & last minute requests for registration.

Trained here for several years before I moved away from NoVA, and it's a great place--traditional without being pretentious, intense without sacrificing their sense of humor. The instructors are passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly, and despite the large class sizes, each student gets enough individual attention to actually learn something about Taekwondo. I still go back and visit sometimes if I'm in the area.
