Great little theatre with a friendly staff, tasty beverages and a hip crowd that comes out to support local comics (like me)!

The theatre is a 100 person seater and always has at least a spare seat or two. Hecklers are kicked out quickly which is a good bonus! Come say hi on Wed nights to me and other aspiring funny people.

I came on The Duel night and had a good time. The champion team was very funny and had their 7th win the night I attended. The challengers were decent as well.

My husband and I absolutely loved this musical. The entire performance was impromptu and we were thoroughly impressed. It made such a special date night for the two of us!

What really made RISE stand out to me was the sense of community and connection that I felt with the other patrons. It was clear that everyone there was there to have a good time and support local talent, and that positive energy was contagious.

I left RISE feeling uplifted and entertained, and I can't wait to go back again soon. If you're a fan of comedy or just looking for a fun night out, I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem of a comedy club.

I will admit this was my second choice of a comedy club for a last minute date downtown but I would 10/10 go back! Two groups of four each did a 20-30 min improv session and it was a great gut laugh with good quality humor. Also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I’ll be back most certainly and I love the location!

Rise is a wonderful place to try out improv if you’re new to it. The community is here is welcoming and supportive. I’ve met some of the funniest and kindest people here. The shows are great and every time I bring friends to see a show they always have a wonderful time! Great talent, amazing teachers and coaches, and so many great opportunities to watch good improv and to also do some good improv! I’ve made some amazing friends here. I don’t ever regret going to my first jam here.
